The event was a team building and personal
development exercise for a new project team.
The day started with coffee and refreshments followed
by a full introduction, briefing and the issuing of equipment.
The group was then divided into two teams of Hunters and
Runners. The Hunters task was to track down the Runners
with all players having the chance in each role either
as HG staff, Quick Reaction Force (QRF) or Scouts. Many
skills were used including coordinating the team using
UHF radios and CCTV cameras for the HQ role, Land Rovers
and Pulse Ranger Laser Guns for the QRF and off-road buggies
for the Scouts. The Runners objectives were to evade the
hunters whilst carrying out secret missions and team assignments
as they move behind enemy lines.
After a buffet lunch roles were reversed and the event
continued through the afternoon.
The group entered into the event with spirit and determination
and showed great initiative and imagination and all had
a great time in this challenging and exciting day. The
day ended with the announcement of scores and awards.
The Project Chief was delighted with the new spirit of
