A special day out specifically designed for children of all ages. The theme was pirates and all the children were dressed in pirate costumes. The starting point was a large marquee on the banks of the Thames in southwest London; everyone was treated to a sizzling barbecue lunch and a clown entertained the children.

The party then embarked on a large boat for a river cruise to visit several famous locations where the teams made up of family groups had to take photographs and solve mystery clues in a fun competition.

The day ended with prize giving after much fun and games, although some of the locals were surprised to see pirates in darkest Surrey!
