| The event was staged to form the
second day of the conference based in a country
hotel outside Stratford.
The morning was given over to a lecture by the
Advanced School of Motoring on advanced driving
skills and road safety, which was accompanied
by a video film presentation.
After a buffet lunch the group was divided into
teams for the afternoon competition. This took
the form of a car rally following a set route
through the Warwickshire countryside. The teams
had to solve cryptic and photographic clues plus
undertaking various challenges including tests
of the driver’s skills. The morning lecture
had been a useful reminder of careful driving
which was important for this event.
There was great competition and rivalry from the
teams as they followed the route, which ultimately
brought them back to the hotel. Prize giving took
place after a well-earned break before they enjoyed
a great dinner to conclude what had been a very
successful and enjoyable conclusion to their two-day
conference.
