Traitors, Jewels And Trade
Don’t lose your head! Explore the grandeur of the Tower of London and St Katharine’s Dock. Walk in the steps of doomed traitors and unwanted Queens in London’s original fortress, and be kept in order by the red-coated Beefeaters. Founded by William the Conqueror, the Tower of London has been used as a royal palace, a prison, a zoo and now houses the Crown Jewels and the famous ravens.
See the Victorian splendour of Tower Bridge and St Katharine’s Dock that once handled imports of goods from around the world. Today the dock has a new life as a leisure destination, filled with luxury yachts and sophisticated shops, bars and restaurants, and offers an oasis of calm just minutes from the City.
