| The teams met at a coffee
bar in Richmond for coffee and Danish pastries, for
the briefing for the day. They had no idea what was
planned so the whole day came as a surprise.
The first part of the day was a walking treasure hunt
around the historic heart of Richmond seeking cryptic
and photographic clues. The route led to the second
surprise – a privately chartered boat that took
them on a leisurely cruise up river to the busy market
town of Kingston. There they undertook some photographic
challenges before meeting at a bar/brassiere in the
riverside area of the town for a buffet lunch. Teams
then rejoined the boat to cruise to the magnificent
palace of Henry VIII at Hampton Court. There a final
treasure hunt was undertaken before rejoining the boat
for a cruise back down river. Prize giving was carried
out on the boat and the teams disembarked at Richmond.
It had been a great success and the directors were delighted
with how much team building had been achieved in such
a relaxed atmosphere amidst great surroundings. An unforgettable
day for all the participants.
