The event
was staged for an advertising agency that required a
team building activity, which would also act as a good
introduction for some new members of the team to the
rest of the group.
The group had an informal lunch in their offices before
dividing into to teams of 5 for the 30-minute briefing.
The client had wanted the event tailored to incorporate
key strategy lines for the coming year, which were keyed
into the texts. The treasure hunt involved a series
of cryptic, photographic and scavenger challenges.
After the briefing the teams were introduced to their
drivers (a highly competitive bunch!) and using all
their skills and knowledge set off to explore the sights
and sounds of London.
The event concluded in a private area of a bar in Covent
Garden where the group could view all the photographs
of the day whilst the scores were calculated. The finale
was a high-spirited affair with the announcement of
the results and a prize giving. The evening continued
with a buffet. The new members of the team felt ‘fully
integrated’ into the team and felt that the day
had been a great success and a huge boost for company
morale.
