From Meat Market to Media Quarter

Just outside the ancient walls of The City of London lies Smithfield, home of the capital’s oldest and last surviving wholesale meat market. Where else in London can you buy a pint of beer with your breakfast at 5am? Wander past the ancient church of St Bartholomew-the-Great to an area once known for a very different variety of blood and guts!

Wat Tyler and William Wallace breathed their last here, and the Tudor monarchs Henry VIII, Mary and Elizabeth I all favoured Smithfield as a venue to execute their enemies. Round off your challenge in Clerkenwell, once the home to the crusading Knights of St John, it’s now a popular residential and media district with loft-style apartments and gastro-pubs. Where better to meet up with your colleagues and relax at the end of your Clerkenwell and Smithfield Event?

DESIGN:

This is an away day activity, which explores the area stretching from St Pauls to Farringdon.

Action will liaise with you prior to the event to design and tailor the perfect experience for your corporate requirement.

Briefing will be given at a pre-arranged starting point where you will be welcomed by our experienced staff. The treasure hunt will use four specific challenges designed to fully engage and entertain all the members of each team and includes, cryptic puzzles, picture sections, scavenger hunt and photographic tasks. The hunt will conclude at another pre-arranged venue where the group can relax whilst the scores are calculated and the finale is the announcement of the results and a prize giving.
