| The group was collected from their office
and taken by coach to the start point in Southampton.
The treasure hunt was based on the high-speed state
of the art ribs (rigid inflatable boats), manned by
skilled and experienced skippers, for an exciting hunt
exploring the Solent. The event was a high-octane but
not an overly strenuous challenge. The group was divided
into teams that competed against each other solving
clues, riddles and codes to locate the treasure. Each
team were given cameras, books and charts to aid their
quest and although this was primarily a water-based
event there were occasions where landings were made
to seek out answers and take photos. The day also included
a visit to a historic location on the Isle of Wight
and teams enjoyed a well-earned lunch. Refreshments
were also provided throughout the day.
On a glorious day out on the water the event took place
in a spirit of adrenaline-fuelled competition. The winning
team celebrated with their champagne prizes after a
noisy results ceremony and the day concluded with a
well-earned barbecue.
The director of the group was delighted with what had
been a great day of team-building and improved communication
in the group who had all enjoyed a great day. |
