| The client had arranged
lunch at the Oxo Tower - the starting point for the
event. After lunch, the group were divided into teams
and given a briefing for the afternoon. The objective
was to visit a number of famous locations in London
by rickshaw and undertake specific challenges including
photographic tasks. As an optional extra, the client
had requested a trip on the London Eye at the start
and so teams boarded their own pod and had to work out
the locations that they had to visit which could all
be seen from there. On leaving the Eye, they joined
the rickshaws and headed off on the treasure hunt.
The finishing point was a private bar just off the Strand
where again an additional element of the competition
awaited them. A professional wine taster was on hand
to conduct a wine tasting quiz that added to their points
score for the afternoon and also added to the merriment
as they enjoyed Chardonnays, Merlots and Rieslings to
name but a few. The event concluded with the announcement
of the scores and prize giving before the teams moved
on to dinner.
The client was very satisfied that the event had greatly
helped to break the ice with his group and given a big
boost to team building.
NB The rickshaw treasure hunt is a successful product
in its own right and it can be tailored to suit any
specific requirements and emphasise particular aspects
to suit the group.
