The newly incorporated design team planned a special trip to enable this new group to get to know each other away from all office distractions and to have time to discuss future planning and strategy during a memorable trip.

The team met at the Waterloo International Station for the journey to Paris, which gave the team a chance to talk and relax and get to know each other. Just over two hours later they arrived in Central Paris and were taken to their hotel to check in before heading to a classic French café near the magnificent Museé du Louvre for a light lunch.

After lunch the teams were given a briefing for the treasure hunt, which started by the spectacular glass pyramid at the entrance to the museum and led them through splendid surroundings including the Tuileries Gardens and Place de la Concorde. The teams saw much of the splendour of historical Paris, the style of the modern city and its good-looking residents, which caught many a roving eye! All this took place in an atmosphere of high-spirited competition.

There were a number of challenges that produced some surprising and at times hilarious results, which would give the group much to talk about over the coming months.

The event concluded at a stylish restaurant where, after a fun packed prize giving, the team enjoyed some great French cuisine.

The following morning the team had time for a meeting to share experiences and then to discuss forward planning and strategies before the return journey to London by Eurostar. All agreed that this had given a huge boost to the new team.
