| The client, a financial
services group had booked a hotel venue for a conference
day and after a morning meeting and lunch wanted a relaxed
but team motivation treasure hunt in the grounds in
the afternoon. The organiser divided the group into
teams of 4 or 5 prior to the briefing for event which
was focused on teamwork and creativity. There were a
series of challenges requiring problem solving, observational
questions and a variety of creative skills.
There was a strong competitive element with just the
suspicion of some cheating (or was that creative thinking?)
as teams hunted the hotel gardens. Once the treasure
hunt was completed, the group was given time to re-group,
shower and change before dinner. The results were announced
and prizes awarded whilst drinks were served and there
was a great deal of crowd participation during the process.
Teams then headed into a well earned dinner. The treasure
hunt was enjoyed by all and had given the opportunity
for many new bonds to be forged amongst a group who
rarely got the chance to spend quality time together
away from the office.
