| The event staged for an international
oil company who were just relocating to Canary Wharf.
The requirement was for an event to help familiarise the
staff with the area before the office move. Staff had
a day’s strategy meeting, on board a nearby hotel
located on a cruise liner, before taken by coach into
Canary Wharf for the Treasure Hunt. The group wanted to
learn about the facilities and orientation of their new
surroundings in the fun formula of a treasure hunt. The
group was divided into teams, then sent off to explore
the sights and sounds of the Docklands, old and new.
The challenges were to solve a set of cryptic clues,
observation questions, collect specified items and undertake
photographic challenges. The event took place amidst
the spectacular sights of Canary Wharf in an atmosphere
of spirited competition.
The event concluded at a restaurant with great views
of the area where a private room had been booked and
a prize giving took place with much laughter and banter.
The group were very pleased to have learnt so much about
their new surroundings in a relatively short time whilst
enjoying the competition of the Treasure Hunt.
