| The client requested
a team-building event for their re-structured sales
team to boost personal growth, motivation and to install
a new atmosphere of understanding amongst the new group.
The event began with a buffet lunch at a bar in St Paul’s
Square located in the famous Jewellery Quarter. The
group was divided into teams for the Treasure Hunt and
then a briefing was held. The structure of the event
emphasised the need for teams to work closely together
whilst delegating specific tasks to individuals. The
event required teams to solve a number of cryptic and
photographic clues whilst collecting different items
and taking Polaroid pictures. The route took the group
from the Jewellery Quarter along the brilliantly restored
historic canals with the fascinating mix of traditional
sights and trendy new bars. The event took place with
high-spirited competition but it was clear that a lot
of ice was being broken in the teams!
The event concluded in the Gas Street Basin at one of
the waterside bars where the results were announced
and a prize giving took place amidst good-humoured banter.
The division concluded their day with a celebration
dinner at a nearby restaurant and all agreed that the
day had been inspirational in creating a new spirit
of teamwork, cooperation and understanding.
